TikTok Video of Woman Dumping Man Over $3 Goes Viral: Is She Right or Wrong?

A TikTok video posted by a woman in New York has gone viral and sparked a heated debate. In the video, she discusses walking out on a first date because her companion refused to pay an additional $3 to add cheese to his burger.

Dafna is a young woman who is using TikTok to document the challenges of dating in the Big Apple. This is a topic that has been largely overlooked by TV shows, movies, books, podcasts, and magazines over the years.

Check it out:

According to Dafna, she opted for branzino while her date (whom I assume is a picky eater) chose a burger.

The burger turned out to be the man's downfall when he asked if he could add cheese to it but was informed that it would cost an extra $3. In an effort to save money, he decided to stick with a plain hamburger.

Dafna was not impressed with her date's thriftiness, to say the least.

After finishing her meal, she excused herself to go to the bathroom, but instead, she went to the front and paid the bill of $55 before leaving without saying goodbye to her cheeseless companion at the table.

So what do you think? Was the guy a complete cheapskate? Or was he a reasonable man trying to save a few bucks in the current financial climate? $3 is a bit much for cheese.

In my opinion, Dafna comes off as high-maintenance and perhaps his $3 cheese move is a perfect gatekeeper to keeping things short with women like her.
