Ex-President Donald Trump criticized pop icon Rihanna as having "NO TALENT" following a demand by one of his most fervent supporters to remove her from the upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance due to her offense towards the former president.
Texas Republican Congressman Ronny Jackson expressed his anger towards the NFL through posts on Twitter and Truth Social, on Thursday, accusing the league of "showcasing" the Barbadian-born singer. He argued that she should not be allowed to perform due to her previous tweets featuring images of a Cadillac with the message "F*** Trump" spray-painted on it.
On Thursday, President Trump responded to Congressman Jackson's post on Truth Social with his own negative assessment of the famous artist, stating that she was "bad" at "everything."
"Without her 'Stylist' she'd be NOTHING," wrote Trump. "Bad everything, and NO TALENT!"
On August 14, 2020, Rihanna shared the controversial images on Twitter and labeled it as "art." She also mentioned that it was 81 days away from the presidential election that year.
When a follower questioned the intention behind the tweet, she replied: "ELECTION!!! Wake up! Stay woke!"

In the past, Rihanna has expressed her disapproval of President Trump. During a 2019 interview with Vogue, she referred to him as "the most mentally ill human being in America right now."
Despite this, some conservatives, such as pro-Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist Dinesh D'Souza, lauded the singer and thought she was exhibiting conservative ideals when she was seen sporting a T-shirt that read "Think While It's Still Legal" in 2021.
