WaPo Floats Possibility of #PresidentPelosi

Washington Post is floating the idea that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi could be president. Heavy on the "could" because that's never going to happen!

While Pelosi IS third in line to being president, thanks to the Presidential Succession Act of 1947, there is no way that Trump will be impeached. Not to mention, if in some other alternate reality dimension Trump got impeached, Pence would hold fast to that position.

The Post's piece, written by Robert Atkins and Adam Frankel, claims that both the president and vice president could be tossed from office for “abuse of power related to the administration’s dealings with Ukraine or other misdeeds.”

Breitbart reports:

The column writers compared Democrats’ current move to impeach the president to when former Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned amidst charges of tax evasion, which left the office of the vice president temporarily vacant in 1973. At that time, if President Richard Nixon were to have resigned or been impeached, House Speaker Carl Albert (D-OK) would have assumed the presidency.

The writers contended that because Pence has appeared to be a “witness” to the president’s conversation with Zelensky, the “prospect of the House speaker’s ascension is not as remote at is seemed just a week ago.”

Atkins and Frankel said that the chaos America currently faces lies with the president’s “heedless, indulgent, and volatile leadership,” not the Democrats moving towards another investigation to oust Trump.

This all comes in the wake of Democrats, such as Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren, pushing for Trump's impeachment, even though they have no ground to stand on.

The hashtag "#PresidentPelosi" is now trending on social media, like Twitter, and it is as ridiculous as you can imagine. Peter Morley, who claims to be working with Congress in his Twitter bio said, "Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. And if I die before I wake, May Speaker Pelosi be Madam President #PresidentPelosi."

CRINGE.

Their feelings are going to be real hurt when Trump is not impeached and goes on to win his re-election!
