Former Yankees closer and Hall of Fame pitcher Mariano Rivera was at the White House Monday to receive the Medal of Freedom from President Trump.
While making their entrance "Enter Sandman" by Metallica blasted through the speakers. Rivers earned the nickname "Sandman" while he was the closer for the Yankees for nearly two decades.
President Trump described Rivera as "maybe the greatest pitcher of all time." The internet went nuts when the caught a glimpse of President Trump and Mariano Rivera walking into the East Room of the White House.
