Yes, you read that right. Beto O'Rourke tweeted out support for "menstrual equality" and suggested more period products for women in prison and detention centers. He even attempted to get it going with a hasthtag: #NationalPeriodDay
O'Rourke made a very bold entrance into his support of the Menstrual Equality Act, wouldn't you say?
Beto has been a little "off" ever since this election started. He's the kid who tries too hard. And he's not going to stop trying too hard, either.
Twitter was where Beto went to announce his support of the Menstrual Equality Act.
This is pandering to the fullest, but it didn't go as planned for O'Rourke. Predictably Twitter users found this hilarious and made jokes at Beto's expense during his obvious attempt to pander.
In detention centers and in prisons, in big cities and small towns, women across America don’t have access to the period products they need. On #NationalPeriodDay, men need to join women in demanding real change—which is why I’m supporting the Menstrual Equity Act.

The hilarious responses started rolling in. Check this one out. "I am literally shaking."
Periods should matter more than ending a sentence. They should begin a conversation on menstrual justice. I am literally shaking

And the hits kept coming:
I dunno. A squirrel may have just run off with his nuts. Republican squirrel? 🤔

Don’t know what’s worse, that this goof is tweeting this or that there is an actual National period day. 😂🤣😂🤣 what a time to be alive

I’m getting really tired of political elites searching for tiny little issues, then blowing them way out proportion to silence dissent and criticism for the large expensive government programs they wish to create in order to “solve” them.

I need razors and shaving cream. How come men’s razors are so expensive?? We need equal pricing to women’s razors!

Laws are already in place. Example from your own home state.
Texas Dept of Criminal Justice Spokesman Jeremy Desel says each month, all female offenders are provided 24 sanitary napkins and 6 tampons, and that unlimited additional supplies are already available upon request.”

Whether it was Beto O'Rourke or his social media manager who came up with this idea, it was an awful one.

The battle on the left for who can be the most "woke" continues. Beto is so desperate, but let's be honest, he has zero chance of winning the Democratic nominee.
In the meantime he can keep doing stupid stuff and we can keep laughing at him.
