Coca-Cola Partners With Dolly Parton for New Flavor

Dolly Parton has done just about everything in the food world. She’s published a cookbook, launched a baking mix line, and shared countless tried-and-true recipes. But some of her most iconic creations can only be found at her very own theme park in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains—Dollywood.

If you’ve been, you know Dollywood is home to treats you can’t get anywhere else. The park’s famous Cinnamon Bread and its massive 25-pound apple pie are legendary among fans. For 40 years, Dolly—known as Dollywood’s “Dreamer-in-Chief”—has had a hand in everything from the rides to the food that keeps guests coming back.

As part of Dollywood’s 40th anniversary celebration, a brand-new sweet treat has joined the lineup. This one isn’t baked, fried, or served on a stick. Instead, it’s poured straight from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.

The exclusive new drink is called 40th Pop Fizz. It debuted earlier this summer and is already getting glowing reviews from visitors. “I drank this all dang day,” one fan posted on Facebook. Another added, “It’s sooo good.”

The exact flavor is a bit of a mystery, but theories are pouring in. Some say it tastes like a mix of Cheerwine and cream soda. Others describe it as a “carbonated cherry Icee” or even “cotton candy mix as a soda.” A few creative guests have even combined it with Sprite for a custom twist.

“We went Tuesday and it was my favorite! It reminds me of Mr. Fizz red cream soda!” another visitor shared. However you describe it, most agree the bright red drink packs a serious sugar rush. And knowing Dolly’s love for sweets—especially funnel cake—it’s no surprise.

You can grab 40th Pop Fizz at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and drink stations throughout Dollywood. But it’s only available for a limited time. So if you needed one more reason to head to the Smokies, here it is—right in time for apple pie and kettle corn season.
