SNL is keeping up with a recent tradition and having comedian Dave Chappelle host following a major election. This tradition started back in 2016 when many on the left considered Chappelle a Trump supporter just because he didn't unload on the new president.
The man known by many as the GOAT of comedy has not shied away from taking on the left on hot-button social topics. You don't get to be the greatest comedian of all-time by being afraid to touch certain social issues. This has triggered the left in a big way.
